In his new book, published almost four years after the first poetry collection La raccolata del sale, Alessandro Brusa continues his research through words, exploring his own existence as a human being on a universal level and the variety of the human relationships, the equilibrium and the contrasts that reside in it. This research involves a physical journey, because it is focused on the body, and a metaphysical one, since it tries to overcome the tangible individual experience, stripping it from all the occurring events in order to obtain its essence.

Here I am again!

Ancora grazie a Joseph Harker, Bryan Borland e Seth Pennington per aver scelto questi miei testi per il numero 23 di ASSARACUS (Sibling Rivalry Press – July 2016).

Sono testi cui sono molto legato, in parte già usciti su Words Social Forum grazie all’interessamento di Antonella Taravella ed ora, in traduzione con l’aiuto di Lawrence Schimel e Shane Manieri.

Alessandro Brusa does America

With such a pornographic and definitely not serious title, I am finally presenting you my first “release” in the United States.

I am extremely proud to see my poetry featured in  “ASSARACUS“, the literary review voted as “Best New Magazine” in 2012 by the “Literary Journal” and, being part of the Sibling Rivalry Press production, recently inducted into the Rare Books and Special Collections Vault at the Library of Congress.
